Steve Johnson


Steve is a lifelong Raleigh resident graduating from Millbrook High School. Steve was a state champion bodybuilder, powerlifter, and college baseball player. He continues his athletic pursuits through snowboarding and high-level softball where his teams have earned three world titles. Steve currently holds the NC USA Powerlifting Master Category Records for Squat and Total. 

Steve coaches CrossFit WOD and the RAW POWERlifting class.

Rob Lusk


Rob is an All-state wrestler and national place-winner in Sambo in addition to being an endurance athlete. Over the past 20 years, Rob has coached a number of children’s athletic teams, high school and college athletes, as well as adult competitive grapplers.
Rob Lusk is currently certified as CrossFit Level 1, Olympic Weightlifting, Movement & Mobility and Kids Trainer. He is also a coach with USA Wrestling (Bronze Level) and USA Weightlifting. He is also certified in Kettlebell Pump.

Rob teaches CrossFit WOD, CrossFit Kids, and works with a lot of our young athletes to tailor our CrossFit program to more specifically enhance their athletic pursuits. Rob served over 20 years as US Army Military Policeman, including tours as Drill Instructor, Master Fitness Trainer and combat veteran. He is currently retired from the military. Rob spends his free time helping his wife, Shannon, keep up with their son, Jackson, a regular CrossFit Kids participant and wrestler.

Logan Byman


Logan is a NC State scholar-athlete. Junior wrestler studying Exercise Science & Sports Management. Two-sport (Golf & Wrestling) athlete at Ravenscroft, Class of 2009. Certified CrossFit Level 1 Trainer and USA Weightlifting Sport Performance Coach. Logan coaches the CrossFit WOD.

David Lynn


David has a BS in Exercise Science from UNC Pembroke where he played football and sprinted and threw for the Braves as a member of the Track & Field squad. David is a local boy, graduating from North Raleigh Christian Academy where is earned letters in football, basketball and track & field. David coaches the CrossFit WOD.

Pete Marston


Pete discovered CrossFit in 2009 and was quickly addicted to the lifestyle, the community and the results. As a former US Army Infantry Officer, collegiate hockey player and slalom water skier, CrossFit fulfills Pete’s desire for continued challenge and personal growth. Pete’s goal as a CrossFit coach is to empower clients with the skills and knowledge that leads to continuous improvement.

Pete grew up in Minnesota, earned a BA from Gustavus Adolphus College and earned an MBA from Norwich University, Vermont. Pete is also a Project Manager at INC Research.

Pete coaches the CrossFit WOD.

Krista Wyman


Krista has been in fitness and health for the last 20 years. She is an avid crossfitter and has competed in several road races and sprint triathlons.Krista grew up in Canada and attended the University of Western Ontario and graduated with a focus in Kinesiology. Krista currently works as a teacher at Franklin Academy High School where she teaches science, PE and coaches cross country. Krista holds her Level 1 CrossFit Certification, is a certified trainer through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) and is Kettlebell Pump Certified. Krista coaches the Kettlebell Pump class.
